I am attempting to somewhat replicate a platform bed for my 41 3/4 ton truck does anyone have one? Would you be willing to send a few pictures, measurements?

Alan, I was hoping to find something for you in James Wagner's book, but did come across this blurb: The 4 & 6 for 41 used a modified 39 hubcap with the ford logo instead of the V8. I hope yours is a V8! Also, I haven't seen many of these, but I once had a 48 with a Ford Script diamond plate loading dock bumper below the stake bed. Alan

thanks. I have contacted Bruce Horkey and he is making a metal bed frame that I think we have succesfully modified into a close match to a Ford frame. I will have to do something about a script on the rear cross sill. Yes mine is a V8-but have up-graded the rear to a 9" for the gear ratio's and up graded the front brakes to 48-56 pick up self enegizing and am putting a 51 Merc under the hood.Should make a really good driver.
