Hi...working on a 37 1/2 ton PU and I am missing the hinge and brackets for the cowl vent...I have the vent but need all the things that make it work. They are not reproduced...not the same as a 36. Are they the same as a 38?? Anybody know where I could get one? Thanks Steve

Steve, the 37-39 pickup cabs are the same. The big trucks also used this cab. Go to; www.sdhotrod.com. Ijust sent them some $ for the 40-47 cowl vent mechanism. Haven't got it yet , but they seem to have a lot of parts.

Before spending too much, you might double check those years. If I'm not mistaken, it was 1935-1937 that are the same cab. Actually, I pulled the hinge and bracket off the vent in my '37 panel delivery and was going to close up the vent hole with a plate from Bitchin parts. If you have trouble finding one, I'll try to find what I did with those bits (it's a senior thing!) Let me know.
