I am assembling the grill on a 39 ford truck.Is there any rubber type material needed between the chrome ring and the steel grill or the lower grill sections?2nd question is what attaches the chrome ring to the steel grill,rivets? This message was edited by KEGGER39 on 2-25-11 @ 8:25 PM

I have a original 39 pick up and I just looked and there is no rubber between the stainless and grill, the stainless is attached with rivets.
