I am currently working on a 1940 1/2 ton panel truck and it is in need of a frame. I have located a good 1939 pickup frame . I would like to know if the 1939 Pick up frame will fit the 1940 panel truck? Any help concerning this matter is greatly appreciated.

if you panel is a sedan delivery or a 112" long, the frames are essentially the same from 35 to 40 and even 41 pu

I believe the radiator mounting holes are further forward on the 1940. A panel delivery has two rear doors, a sedan delivery has one. This message was edited by stovebolt on 1-16-11 @ 6:12 AM
