OV8T, Where do you live to have come across an English truck? I've never seen one like yours and would never have guessed it was a Ford. I'm thinking the original engine was perhaps a 60 hp 17 stud? And two straight MH trucks, but without the hood-side badges? Alan

OLDV8TRUCK. Was either your 40 or 47 made in Canada? Was you 40 MH a military truck? About 60% of Ford of Canada production was shipped to other Commonwealth countries.

yes both trucks made in canada,the 40 was a gun tractor unit? and orig had an open top,The guy i got it off was goin to restore it as ww2,Im not really that keen on army trucks so put the cab on and the flat deck
