Topic: 1932 Ford Delux Panel

Working on an original 32 delux panel. From what I can find, artificial leather was used as a headliner up to the rear of the front seat area. From there, it appears there were three panels of something with exposed wood ribs, one on each side and two between. Anyone know if the flat material above the drivers compartment was cardboard or what?

Jim: The definitive authority on interiors is LeBaron Bonney. Their e-mail is lbb-hc@greennet.net. The web site is www.lebaronbonney.com There are several styles of the cardboard used in old Fords. Some have leather-like texture, others are best described as "chicken tracked". L-B produces interiors for almost all the years and models from the late 20's to the 50's. I would bet they can answer your question, and probably stock the material, as well.
