Hello I'm new at the forum been a member a couple yrs. my project is a 35 pickup. the prevous owner had a 350 in it and alot of up grades. I picked up a 40 flathead and 36 trany the rearend 37. Hydraulics fron a 39 and 42.I think the steering box is 37.I installed a Mich*ll overdrive and I leaning toward 12 volt. I'm fairly good with the paint and body work and almost ready to install the front fenders. my first question of many is the fender welt. Does it startat the bottom of the grill and run all the way and stops at the running board? Thank you for any help or advice.

I don't know about the 35 but on a 47 it starts at the running bd and stops at the lowest point on the hood. I hope this helps, if not good luck anyway.

Thanks fot the info after messing around with the grill the fit look's nicer with the welt. I also found that by having the headlight reinforcement arms loose the grill slides in nice. thanks again
