There area two of these on the chassis of my '36 pickup. I don't see how they are attached. For a long time I thought them to be stripped nuts. the bolt sticking through has nothing to do with it This message was edited by MrHenderson on 6-16-26 @ 3:44 PM

Those are interesting pieces. I presume that they are part of the 3rd set of bed bolts on your pickup. The ones that I have are actual metal wedges that are not attached to the frame rails. I guess I would wait until some of the truck knowledgeable members reply.
