I have two of the later style (with the flat sealing surfaces) V8-60 water pumps which were previously rebuilt. These pumps leak. The engine has only been run on an engine test stand for about half an hour and the pumps still leak. Should these pumps stop leaking with more usage due to the Bakelite impeller wearing in against the machined surface of the pump? If not, where is a source for rebuilt or new V8-60 water pumps?
