I bought a used radiator that I thought would fit in my 41 pickup. My original one didn't have the channel that protected the headlight wiring, but this one does. everything was fine until I came to install the hoses. My model 59a has 1.75-inch outlets and the new one has 1.5 inch. It also is thinner than the one that was in the truck. What do I have?

If it has two inlets and two outlets, the smaller diameter indicates it is for a 60hp Ford . Thinner also indicates 60 hp, having 3 rows of tubes rather than the 4 rows of the 85 hp Fords. Fine if you had a 60hp or a 4 cylinder, but an 85 will overheat, so sell it quick. Alan
