Topic: F1 Rear Cab Panel

Im reatoring a 51 F1. After making several sheet metal repairs to the lower firewall and replacing an entire floor pan, I've realized my rear cab panel below the window is severely compromised. It's actually cracked straight through in two spots and the remaining metal is extremely pitted. The PO put plastic over the compromised area and I had no idea.

I'm looking to replace the area that's taped off. The panels I've located locally are not in great shape. New panels are not available for this year only +53.

It sounds kind of crude but if you are unable to locate a new proper sheet metal panel to have welded into your cab, you may be able to use an old refrigerator door. Some of these old items have a crown (slight curve) which makes them easy to use for some automotive body applications.
