Installing glass in my 1935 pickup for the first time. Looking for first hand knowledge & advice to flatten my learning curve. Any help would be appreciated. A couple of questions: Is the windshield tape installed in two pieces? Assuming the corners are mitered. What is the best method to hold the tape onto the glass as it is inserted into the frame half? Any lube used? I have NOS door glass felt guides but no channel. What size channel is used? I think it is 5/8 wide. I think it is 1/2” deep without the edge bead but would like to confirm before I invest in a piece...... Thanks! Tim Downtown, Ca
