47 pickup-I need to remove temp gauge to have it repaired. Gauge repairman says I should have about 13 ohms across terminals and I have 0. Found three nuts with a swing bar and loosened them. Is there a fourth one I am not finding? Does cluster come out into the cab or back into dash? Thank you.

should be two screws that actually hold the gauge, one wire connection this comes from the sending unit on the head, one bridge bar the supplies the power to the gauge. gauges come out from back, pull down and allow the top of the face to come out the gauge hole and the rest will come out. you have to be some sort of limber to do this from under dash
