Hi I upgraded my 49 Ford f1 to electronic ignition . There is a wire going to the coil red with green trace when I took it apart it was on the neg terminal of the coil would that be correct . I never had it running before I switched bad mistake . Now I don’t have any spark. Great to see a pic . Thank you

We need more information before we can help you. Is the electrical system still original with a 6 volt positive ground? Is the electronic ignition system you purchased compatible with a 6V positive ground system? If you have changed the polarity of the vehicle's electrical system, you will have to change the polarity of the coil. Did you receive any instructions with the electronic ignition system, if so, follow those instructions.
