  hi
I would pull the top of the transmission and examine it for wear, wobble in reverse gear, worn bushing,
check you GEARS for CHIPPED TEETH, Etc,
drain the oil in a clear container and run a magnet though the oil and see what you pickup,
is your clutch adjusted correctly ? clutch dragging ? sticking ?
hope this helps 37Ragtopman

If it was the clutch dragging or sticking, how come it’s OK in 2nd and 3rd gear?!?!?????????

In first and reverse which are not synchronized gears you are starting from rest. Second and third are synchronized and you are rolling when you engage them. Make sure you have the proper amount of oil in the transmission. It should be level with the fill hole on the side of the transmission. Adjust the clutch so that it has approximately 1" of pedal free travel before it begins to release the clutch.
