I was wanting some info on updating 37 ford pickup over to hydraulic brakes . I have the large 5 bolt brake drums and was told that I could use 48,49.50,51 and 52 F1 backing plates bendix self energizing . Is this correct ? Any help on this would be very appreciated !

If you are using your stock wide five drums you should use the 42-48 Ford backing plates. The 48-52 F-1 backing plates have a different offset and may not work with your stock drums.
