Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum and to be honest, I’m not much of a car guy. I’m trying though so any help is greatly appreciated! I inherited a restored 1937 Ford Pickup truck. It’s been sitting in my aunt’s garage for 5 years. I got it running great and have the reference manual. The manual says to use SAE 40 oil for prevailing temps between 30-100 degrees. I live just south of Seattle so this is my range. I put a 20W40 oil in it. Will that be good for this engine today? Everything is original on the motor and it runs great. Also, I have access to non-ethanol gas. Is that recommended too? Thank you for any advice.

Non Ethanol gas is a good idea. wish I could buy it where I live. As far as the oil goes you'll get a wide variety of answers. I think you should be fine with 20/40. I'm in SoCal where it is much hotter and I run 20/50.
