Can anyone tell me if the radiator from a 39 Standard would fit a 37 1/2 ton pickup?

As a general rule pickup radiators are not interchangeable with passenger cars. The hoods and grilles on pickups do not mount the same as the passenger car. There is also a difference in width and height.The exception is the '40 Ford. The '40-41 pickup uses the same radiator as the '40 passenger car as long as it has the V-8 motor.

hi according to the specs, the 1937 1938 1939 FORD trucks, held about 1 gallon of extra coolant, for heavy duty work,so they are bigger I think this is also true on the 39 Deluxe pass car, and 1940 Deluxe pass and truck ,my 2 cents 37Ragtopman

My reply to this topic is about 3 months stale, however, I'll reply just encase there is still a need for info. I restored a '37 pickup in the mid 1960's, the '37 trucks are pretty well a one of vehicle. Somewhat similar to a '36 but the hood, grille and radiator is different. I had a '38, '39 many years ago, the grille and radiator is completely different from a '37. I have a very nice '37 trk radiator sitting in my garage that is left over from the 1960 rebuild, because it is a V8 60, same size as a 85, but with smaller upper/lower tubes. Bill 36 5 win delx cpe
