After reading the 37 Ford Book, am I understanding correctly that the door LOCK was ONLY on the passenger side? Was the lock chrome plated? Did the lock have a flipper? James A. Westbrook

My 34 BB truck door lock is that way. I read where back in the day, it was considered too unsafe to exit on the traffic side so only the curb side door had a key lock. I do not know how many models or for how long Ford built them that way.
