Topic: 53 F100 Heater

I am restoring 53F100 pick up. 239 flathead engine. I want to restore heater however I have no indications as to who made it. Only thing on it that I can not read is front flap. Last three letters are ees and the appears to be three letters in front of that the red is in lower case however someone appears to have tried to remove decal and first three letters are disfigured. My best guess is the first letter is a S but I can't be positive. Anybody out there that can shed some light on this?

Your best bet for identification is to post a photo. There were many aftermarket hot water heaters in 1953 and a lot of commercial vehicle were ordered without the Ford heaters.

You need to check with FirstRider on the Ford Truck Enthusiasts site.He is the heater pro and should help you out if you are serious on a heater!

You probably have a Hadees brand heater. They were an aftermarket heater and not original to the F-100.
