I have the parts and will soon have a go at re-building the steering box -- I would appreciate any advice on the removal of the steering column. 1928peterb -- Darwin Northern Territory Australia

It is a pretty straight forward operation. You will have to remove the steering wheel, floorboard, shift linkage and drag link connections. Then remove the bolts at the dash and steering box and remove the assembly. Make sure that you either remove the front seat or cover it completely and securely, to prevent grease stains. I have found that no matter how far a piece of uncovered upholstery is from where I am working, it will get a grease spot on it. Tom
