My 1940 Mercury has a repro voltage regulator - club members have said that the original had a left side ground terminal. Can this style regulator still be purchased and if so where? Thank you to you all for your assistance in each of my questions.

The original voltage regulator had a cadmium plated cover that was marked ARM, FIELD and BAT with a side terminal for the ground. It is mounted on 3 cushions that are being reproduced. The regulator is not being reproduced at this time to my knowledge, so you will have to try to find a used one and restore it. Here is a photo of one. Tom
