Does anyone know how to remove the cylinder lock on a 1947 mercury sedan in order to re-key the cylinder to match the new trunk key cylinder. Thanks

Just remove the complete lock assembly from the dash and take it to the locksmith. There are 2 screws holding the lock to the dash, you may have to remove the glove box to access them. Tom
