Topic: My first flathead, and it's a '50 Mercury!

Hello good people! I am 73 y/o and just acquired a 1950 Mercury coupe. It's solid, unchopped and unmolested. I've always wanted one; can't believe I'm now it's caretaker. I know I will have a ton of questions, but for now I'm going to start with just one:
What 15 inch steel rims will interchange with my Merc? Ford rims? Years? I'm running P205/70R15 and P205/75R15 tires. Thanks in advance!

Sir, I'm 81 and just purchased a 47 Mercury coupe for my daily driver. My previous 26 Model T was a little rough for the winter time with no heater,
Mercury wheels through 51 were 5x5.5 bolt pattern. If your going to use late model wheels or aftermarket with a 5x5.5 B/P I would suggest trying the wheel before you mount it. If you plan to use your stock hubcaps make sure the new wheels will accept them. The wheel offset is another factor. You want the tire to set inside the fender and not rub on turns. I know I probably really confused you now but changing wheels can be a little troublesome.
Ask others on here what wheels they have found that work for your car.
