Does anyone have any advice on where to find rear fenders for a 39 mercury? I can't seem to find any in half decent shape and dont really know where to look and mine are beyond repair

You can use Ownster.com to find parts for your car. It searches E-Bay and Craigs lists across the country. You can also contact one of the recyclers that use a network to find parts.
