I finally got the old girl home and am starting my long journey with granddads old car and I can proudly say i still have the papers where he bought it ! But she isnt in the best shape and I need some help I cant get either passenger door open or the rear driver door open what can I do to get them open? Also where is the best place to sell the transmission out of it ? Thanks for the help I have been given so far I certainly have my work cut out for me!

Make sure the doors are unlocked from the inside by pushing the inside handles all the way down. You may need to oil the hinges. If you want to sell the trans try the classified section of this site. Nice old Merc.

Thanks. I'll try that and everyone here tells me its really rough but it is 80 so im not sure if it really is or not
