Hi all, My great uncles 39 became mine just over a year ago, and in that time I have had it converted from 6-12 volts and added turn signals. The problem I am experiencing is that the original taillight sockets and the wiring to them is just plain worn out and the whole of them need replacing, when the wiring moves to accompdate the taillight lenses, the wires just go back to shorting or not staying lit. Does anyone here have any recommendations on where I can buy new sockets and new twilight wiring for a 39 Mercury? Thanks in advance

Try MAC's. If the taillight socket is common with Ford, they have a replacement socket that will work.
