When considering a complete set of new top latches, for my 41, catalogs list one for early and one for late model convertibles. If using a new front header is there any real difference in securing the top as it bolts to the frame and ect? *Brass and chromed are much more expensive. S/steel cheaper but look great. Any reason not to use the s/s? Thanks

The bodies for the Ford and Mercury were the same in 1941 and I can't answer your question. I suggest that you ask the 39-41 Advisor or send a PM to Fred Killian the 1941-1942 Ford Advisor to get an answer. Tom
