A friend of mine has a 46 ford. With 600x16x5 , would these be Lincoln wheels? He is also having trouble with the Ford hub caps not going on the wheels. Do the Lincoln wheels have different lugs ? Thanks, Rick

Lincoln wheels would use the same lug nuts as Ford.

I'm not sure about the nubs on Lincoln wheels. Hopefully TomO may come on here and have an answer. If you are a V-8 Club member Tom O'Donnell is a club member and lives in Illinois, so look him up in the roster and call him.. He's always willing to help a club member.

Do the hub caps come close to fitting or are they way off? If they are close are the caps original or reproduction? Are the nubs on the outside of the center or inside of the center?

A 16x5 wheel is more likely a truck wheel. The only year that Lincoln used a 16x5 wheel was 1941 and it used clips to hold the hubcap on as did other years of Lincoln wheels.
