Comments/recommendations on installing a 40 Ford Windshield - install windshield then dash or install dash first then windshield?

I installed my windshields well after the instrument panel was installed. Probably can be installed in either order. However, I would be careful of tighening / over-tightening instrument panel mounting bolts with windshield installed. Barney

The instrument panel should be installed prior to the glass being installed. With the windshield, do NOT overtighten the molding screws. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
