Are the 1939 ford coupes and 1940 ford coupes the same from the cowl back?

If you are referring to the body only, then yes, for the most part. Floors are a bit different. And of course, there was no business coupe in '39 so a '39 coupe and a '40 business coupe floor is very different. As would be the bracing, etc. in the area behind the backrest. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
