Topic: unknown part

Hi to All and Happy Thanksgiving,
A few years back I bought a 'basket-case' '40 Ford Fordor. That project is complete now, but I have a PLO (part left over).
It's a 36" piece of gently curved stainless steel which is bolted/scr*w*d to a (very rusted) steel plate that has 4 mounting holes. A rubber seal is 'sandwiched' between the two.
Hopefully, you can see the pictures even though they're not the best quality. Does anyone have an idea, or know, what this piece is? It may not even be a Ford part. If someone knows and wants it, it's theirs for the asking - just buy it's ticket to ride.

Thanks much for looking,
Barney

  Sill plate. Pretty much valueless.

Thanks for your response, Kube. That makes sense to me; I tried to fit it in the front door of my fordor, but it was a couple inches too long. I'm guessing it's for a tudor model. I would think someone would want it.
Thanks again.
Happy Thanksgiving to All,
Barney

I wasn't certain of the length, but yes, it sounds as if it is Tudor. You'll find soon enough, it has nearly zero value.
