I looked at my car again today. Seeing it starting to be stripped to bare metal, I keep thinking "What have I done?" The last time I did this was in 1976. The painter is very professional and doing it right, it is just unnerving to me to have it this far apart (and with such a long way to go to get it finished and back in service). Oh well, new paint is long overdue.

Thank you sir! Time estimate from the painter is a minimum of two months-I imagine it will take longer. I figure that it will take much longer than that for me to put it back together...

The paint is getting closer now. The two month estimate was pretty darn close. It should be home in a week or two, then the dash, steering column, parking brake handle, and steering wheel has to be removed to be painted.
