40 coupe. The existing switch does not turn or pull. Getting a new one to be installed when the car is rewired as the radio will be out. How exactly does it work?? Paul in CT

Hi Paul-- Since it is never going to rain ever again in California, it's been a while since I had the wipers on in my 40 Sedan. Yes, replace the wiper control while the radio is out of the car. The knob should turn to activate the wiper motor. It does not "pull out". On page 1-36 of Mike's book, he shows a photo of the wiper control and the accompanying control rod. Check it out and see what you think. Hope it solves your problem. Tom
