I am cleaning the car body to engine ground strap. Do I need to return the nut to original torque If so, what is the correct torque Thanks Dale

Depends on aluminum vs. steel heads. I place an external tooth lock washer between the strap and head when building my cars. Also between the strap and dash panel. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

I don't know why you would clean a grounding cable. If it has corrosion, the best solution is to replace it. Tom
