I just became the owner of this ford. Purchased as a 42 but haven't decoded the numbers yet. Can anyone tell me by the pictures just what I have here?

It appears that you do indeed have a 1942 Ford Tudor. Not seeing nor noticing any model identifying trim, that is all that can be said.
