Ford "outsourced" lots of parts, with many of the same type made by several vendors. Old Henry once tried to "vertically integrate" his factories, making all things, including glass, tires, etc, from raw materials. It didn't work out. Thus, today's vehicles are largely only assembled, rather than manufactured, by the nameplate plants.

I wish I could tell you definitively whether or not Ford purchased these assemblies (or pieces thereof) or made them in house.
As Supereal stated, lots of parts (even back then)were supplied TO, rather than produced BY Ford.
I think I may have a pair of NOS side regulators if you need a photo or??? However, it sounds like you have the assemblies intact.
