HAPPY NEW YEAR ! ! Does someone have a picture of the hood latch ((front near the grille) that shows where the springs attach (both ends)?? 1940 coupe (DeLuxe if it makes a difference). Thanks in advance. Paul in CT

Below is one of the Ford springs. This is Std. I believe the Dlx is the same. There is a small 45 degree bracket at the hood center trim screw and a hole in the link arm. The second small spring is from the short dog leg that is pictured below to the oval hole in front of the dog leg when mounted
