I am trying to rebuild a 1940 ford window regulator. More specifically the window crank gear. I have the kit I can hit the 1 rivet easily to remove it but how do I get the other 2. I pulled the spring off and thought I could move the regulator around to get to the rivets I can only maybe hit 1 more. Any thoughts ? Also how do I put the new rivets in the kit back in ? Please help

I cut the heads of the rivets off and punch the body out. To reassemble, I use short machine screws, lock washers and nuts. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
