Well, I got a new single terminal for my 1940. I installed it this A M, and put the gallon or so of coolant that I had drained, so I could install it, back in the radiator.

Then I started the car to let it warm up with the cap off, and a candy thermometer in the fill neck.

Much to my surprise, when it warmed up, and showed 180 degrees on the thermometer, the gauge read just a needle width or so, past "N"!

I took the thermometer out, put the cap on, and shut the motor down. HURRAH!! They must be making them better, or I got lucky and got a good one!!!

Regards, Steve Lee
