What do" X," "P," and "L," stand for on my flasher? I am installing an A5007 Pacific United switch.
I think "L" is to the light on the unit (And it works), "X " is from my 5 amp fused line. Are those correct?

If so what does P stand for?? (Power out To the switch for the brake light switch??)

I googled one diagram showed X is incoming power, and another said P is incoming power?? Very confusing!!

I have NO POWER to the brake switch from the signal switch??

Got it done! positive ground comes from the signal switch, to the brake switch. It's a little tricky because the switches are made for negative ground cars, but I figured it out!!
