Got the drivers door remote spring installed without breaking the tangs, the passenger side was another issue, the tangs all broke off so I am looking for a replacement remote arm with spring for the passenger side. 1940 pickup. I know these units are available from all suppliers however they want you to buy both sides @ at a high price. So if anyone out there has an extra or knows anyone that might have one please let me know. I am nearing the completion of the truck, would like to have it ready for this summers shows

Even though the tabs broke off the remote can be saved. Put it together with a new spring and clamp it back together and spot weld it. I suspect portions of the tabs are still there so they will fit back in the holes to align the two pieces. No one will ever see the repair.
