The rear lever shocks on my '40 Deluxe are shot. Rebuilders in CO & WA quoted me $250 apiece to rebuild. Joe's Antique Auto has a tube shock conversion kit for $200. Which route would you choose to go.

What are your goals for the car? If you want to have it points judged at Early Ford V-8 Club shows then definitely have the original shocks rebuilt. If you want it to be a driver that requires less maintenance and is easier to work on go with the tube shocks.
