So does anyone know when FoMoCo started offering C kits as options in the 50's? I know 56 Ford had one, I believe the 54 Ford had the Coronado kit and possibly Lincoln had one in 53/54. Not aftermarket just FoMoCo

My 50 Ford convertible came from California and it has a continental kit that was put on at the dealer. I not sure if it was supplied by Ford. I know it couldn't be shipped from the factory with it installed. That was due to the transport trucks, they couldn't handle the extra length of the car. I would also like to know if this was supplied by Ford.

I know the Coronado Kits were offered for '52 and '53 cars as Part # BA-18255-A and BE-19164-A. Not sure of the Continental kits. Don
