Answering Rybcon's question: Lost Data/Old Forum: The answer is "Not really." The old Forum was hosted on a totally different site and it is not possible now. Again, the old Forum had old software, different language, and opened off-site. Basically, what you are suggesting would cost the club hosting fees for two forums, and that is not cost effective.

John, I've noticed that my posts are always, how shall I say this... Narrow? I never hit the return key, but no matter, it just happens... ? The window I'm typing in here becomes the width of the post automatically. How come nobody else's does this? They just seem to ramble on twice the width. I know, major dumb question, but before some smart aleck pops wise, NO, I don't think I'm just narrow minded!

Hey, As browser of the V8 club site, I'm stunned, low and behold the V8 club has a new presence. I've spent a short time navigating this site and find it a lot better than the old site. But I have a suggestion that I wanted to PM the administrator rather than make a social topic out of it. I find that you cant PM the site administrator, Whats up? Now remember I just started to use the new site and its pretty nice so I started to review the forum section and they all started out with topics that were addressed a long time ago...old new-gossip what ever. My immediate question was why cant the posts be done newest to oldest rather than oldest to newest. Right now this is only a month or so old so you dont have a lot of pages to got thru but after time if you will have to go to page 100 to read current discussions. So anyway since I cant PM you this is a shout out to the site administrator about reconfiguring the way the forums are archived. Dick

Hey Dick, good to have you back! I find that the most useful way for me to use the forum is to click on the "today's Active discussions" just above the Ford Forums. You can continue any fresh thread there. If you want to post to older threads or create a new thread, then go back to the subsection of your choice.

Im new, so I really dont know where to direct this. I have a commemorative piece that was given to the Mayor of Chester, Pa. In 1932 , Ford presented it to him. I will attach pic/ V8 insignia on piece The wording on plaque is Presented To Honorable Wm. Ward Jr Mayor of Chester Pa From the First V8 Produced at Ford Chester Branch May 4, 1932
