I need to change the transmission fluid in my '39 Deluxe, 3 speed gearbox. Searching the archives, I've seen recommendations for: 95W/140 75W/140 80W /90 Now I'm feeling particularly confused. The car is located in Chicago and will see summer spring and fall driving temperatures. No winter driving or temps below freezing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If the transmission has any leaks my recommendation would be to use a heavier oil than the 80W-90 to reduce the rate of leakage.
