our 32 ford 2door sedan has the horn and light switch on the steering column. it has come loose and we are not sure how to go about fixing it. it appears to be a bale wire that needs to be fixed. any help?

The bail wire is being reproduced and is available at C&G Ford parts.

Loose, how so, if the light switch will move up and down from the steering wheel. There is a spring, spider, and a clip at the end of the light switch rod just above the light switch at the bottom of the steering box. The C-clip may have broken or fallen off the end of the rod. The clip holds the spider and spring to the bottom of the rod. Look in several of the aftermarket parts books for a diagram. The vehicle year (32-39) is not important since they are all nearly identical.
