was wondering if this fuel gauge is for a 32 FORD many thanks to the 32 expert on this,

Sorry, no it is not for a '32 Ford as it lacks the "ears" to mount it on the back of the instrument panel. In addition the black portions above and below the gauge bezel are both longer than those of a '32 Ford gauge.
