The only reason I would make the change would be to be able to use the "Brite (note this is the way they spell it)" bulbs from Ron Francis Wire Works, wire-works.com, (800) 292-1940. They work great but a question might be do you really need that much light? A better question might be why are you considering the change and how do you use the car? Tell us why you are considering the change and someone might suggest a better solution than changing to 12 volts. Charlie Stephens
