Getting ready to mount the gas tank back into the frame on the 32. I kinda remember there are 3 bolts and springs holding the tank to the frame. Where do the springs go, under the tank in the frame C channel? Are the nuts pinned to the bolts from the underside?

Three bolts is right, but only one spring (right side). The two bolts on the left are hex head (3/8-24 x 13/16) used with lock washers and corresponding hex nuts on the underside. The bolt on the right side (3/8-24 x 1 7/8 with a hole in the shank) inserts from the bottom with the spring, castle nut, and cotter pin on top of the flange of the gas tank.
